Developer Piece of Cake Studios announced that its award-winning co-op stealth game, Hacktag, has launched today for PC and Mac via Steam. Set in 2029 in a parallel world populated by cute. The whole Hacktag experience is designed to make the players feel like they are the heroes in a spy or heist movie. Online and local multiplayer: Play separately or share the same screen. After the addition of several new languages, including Portuguese recently, we are so excited to announce that the number of available localizations is growing a bit more with the arrival of German. Hacktag is a fast two-player game: one player is the stealth ‘Agent' while the other is the virtually-infiltrating ‘Hacker'. You work with the other player to carry out espionage in different settings and complete each challenge. Hacktag is a 2 player co-op stealth game with an asymmetric gameplay for PC, Mac & consoles. Hacktag takes place in 2029 in a parallel universe where corporations struggle for the leadership. The players are mercenary hackers who have to fufill industrial espionnage missions for corporations either as the stealth-agent, who infiltratres physically the building, or as the hacker who infiltrates.

Description
Hacktag is a fast-paced two-player co-op stealth-game with unique asymmetric gameplay. Play as the stealth Agent in the field or as the virtually-infiltrated Hacker and work together to carry out espionage missions where nothing goes as expected!
History
In 2029, in a parallel world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, you are a mercenary who secretly accomplishes missions for corporations struggling for leadership. To succeed you will have to team-up with a partner and infiltrate corporations simultaneously in two ways: As the stealth Agent, moving through corporate buildings with an isometric 3D view and fast, arcade-style infiltration gameplay. Or as the Hacker virtually infiltrating the same level with different view—see the world through holographic blueprint vision and move through a virtual network to interact with the cameras, doors, phones or even coffee machines…Hacktag is released on Steam since February 14th 2018 after making its debut on Early Access June 1st 2017 and a month of Closed Beta in May 2017.

Developer Piece of Cake Studios announced that its award-winning co-op stealth game, Hacktag, has launched today for PC and Mac via Steam.
Set in 2029 in a parallel world populated by cute, anthropomorphic animals, Hacktag is a fast-paced two-player co-op stealth-game with asymmetric gameplay. One player is an Agent in the field while the other is a virtually-infiltrated Hacker. Hired as mercenaries by competing corporations, the two players work together—with an element of competition—to carry out espionage missions via online or local co-op. In single player mode, one player switches between the two roles.
Hashtag For Mac
In Hacktag, the Agent moves physically through a corporate building level while the Hacker moves alongside electronically via network nodes. As the Agent avoids physical guards (watch out for those pandas!), the Hacker avoids anti-virus software moving through the network, with both players seeking to hack computers to steal the data required for mission success. While some tasks can be accomplished by either player, many tasks require the cooperation of both—for instance, opening a locked door requires the Hacker to electronically unlock it while the Agent physically opens it.
